This is the official mobile application for the 2016 U.S. Department of Justice Violence Reduction Network (VRN) Summit. The VRN Summit is a 2½-day, invitation-only event in Little Rock, Arkansas, on September 26–28, 2016. The VRN Summit will convene executive leadership and key stakeholders from selected sites to participate in focused discussions directly with DOJ representatives, including United States Attorneys, federal law enforcement agencies, and violence reduction subject-matter experts. The summit will provide information on the broad spectrum of DOJ resources available to VRN communities and will provide a forum for site leaders to identify ways that DOJ can help enhance existing violence reduction efforts. The VRN Summit will serve as the official launch of a broader VRN effort that creates an opportunity for sites to engage in violence reduction strategies directly with national and international practitioners and researchers and with DOJ. These experts have proven track records in developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies and tactics that reduce urban violence. The VRN is designed to complement the Justice Departments Smart on Crime Initiative and leverage lessons learned and government resources in an "all-hands" approach to reduce violence.

This mobile application is funded through a grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice. This application is designed to provide VRN Summit participants with additional access to VRNSummit.org content.
